Development & Product Management

I joined AMCS in 2008 as a Junior Consultant straight after finishing my university studies of International Economics and Business. One of the main reasons I chose to join AMCS, is that AMCS is a very internationally oriented company and I have always been interested in working in other countries and with different cultures.

Initially as part of the training process I worked for a few months with the QA department in our Amsterdam office, but very soon I got my first major project which took me abroad to Ireland, just what I aspired to do!

Over the next years, I worked as a consultant where I was responsible for implementing our back office and truck solutions for companies and government organisations throughout Europe and the Middle East. As I became an expert in our products, I started assisting the sales team in a pre-sales role where I was able to give product demonstrations to prospects and give advise on how AMCS' solutions would be best able to serve them.

When AMCS expanded into Australia, I was given the opportunity to move to the other side of the world, where I am now working as a product owner/manager for the Wastedge product.

In my current role, I am responsible for the direction and strategy of the Wastedge product as well as managing the development team that works on this product.

What I like best about working with AMCS is that they have given me the opportunity to grow over the years into various roles as well as given me the freedom to develop professionally. I've been working for AMCS for 10 years now, but I never got the chance to be bored!
